Six Maile Chix

I think I broke my body today. It is so frustrating! I truly want to be a runner. I continue to try to be one, but my body is screaming at me that perhaps it's just not meant to be. I ran another 10K today, feeling absolutely fantastic in my ability to keep going, mentally and and with my breathing. But I kept myself going forward despite my shins burning, my back throbbing and my right foot aching. What is with that? Mentally and with my breathing I feel like I could run forever, but my body just can't keep up. I tried to go get the right shoes and have had trouble ever since. Uuuugh. I feel sore tonight in all the right places as far as muscle development that I want, but sadly I've felt all this before and have yet to see any changes come from the soreness. Hmmm. Perplexing.

Lose came home from school yesterday, completely stoked that she finally had the final draft completed of her autobiography. I read it with her, and it seriously is the absolute cutest thing EVER. I'm going to type what she wrote, although it won't be complete until you get to see her adorable pictures.

My name is Lose. I have brown, shiny eyes. I am a girl. I have round, big teeth. I was born September 9, 2003, in Utah. I have 5 sisters.

I went to first grade, door 117. I hugged my mom. I was scared. I am a student in Windsor Elementary. I don't like not going to school. I LOVE school.

Now, I have mean friends and I have nice friends. I like nice friends best because they are NICE! That's why!

I am a Maile. I am a dog lover. I am not a cat lover. I LOVE SNAKES! I hate when people fight.

I love BYU! I like sports. I like ballet too! My favorite food is pizza.

My favorite movie is, dum da dummmmmmm...National Treasure and National Treasure 2! They're both so awesome! I love them.

My family is the best family in the world to me! I have two big sisters and three little sisters.

The thing that is special in my family is that my Dad likes to fart! It is fun because he says it is one of us! And it isn't ANY of us! Really! Now I call that FUNNY! Do you? Hm? Hm? I do!

My Dad died October 16, 2009. I was sad. My Dad's birthday is April 23. It's the same as Mrs. Greene's birthday. My mom's birthday is St. Patrick's Day! Whoo-hoo! I love my Dad. I love my Mom.

I went on a trip to Idaho. It was fun! This year I'm going to Florida. But I don't want to go.

My family's Christmas tradition is having Cinnamon Rolls every Christmas! I LOVE getting presents every CHRISTMAS!

My favorite animal is a puppy. My favorite kind of dog is a golden doodle. I love puppies!

I hate when friends tell secrets!

It is not fun. Promise, me, promise not to tell secrets anymore! None! Cause I promise, I went down that road and it did NOT end well, I tell you!
