After all my whining in my post yesterday, I feel the need today to post something sweet and cute to help balance myself and my thoughts. I must say, that for me, writing my thoughts out is a complete purging and cleansing process. Unloading my thoughts and inner turmoil provides me with such emotional relief. Those feelings still exist, whichever ones I'd recently written out, but somehow by acknowledging and owning them, I can take a step forward that I couldn't before. These pictures are from my niece Aria's birthday party, the party Line blogged about earlier. The girlies' Uncle, Naki's older brother, put up a whole area of posters with the faces cut out for the kids to take pictures in. All the kids were so cute posing with their different facial expressions. Even the adults got in on the fun, but I don't happen to have any of those shots.
This video is of Ane. Ginny noticed one day that Ane was trying to spread out her Daddy blanket so that she could kiss his pictures. Now Ginny will put a pillow under the blanket, and then Ane will do what you see in the video, all the time. One time her blanket happened to be on the floor, not intentionally left spread open, with no pillow underneath it, and the hard floor was not what she had expected to feel when she gave her umas to the pictures of Daddy...
